Deposit Banking Consultant

This is a full-time position serving as the primary contact between FPS GOLD and client deposit personnel, responding to client inquiries and assisting the client in the effective use of the FPS GOLD software and systems.

The primary responsibility for the Banking Consultant position is defined as:

Serves as the primary contact between FPS GOLD and client deposit personnel, responding to client inquires and assisting the client in the effective use of the FPS GOLD software and systems.

Some other responsibilities for this position will include:

Daily contact and support of clients
Listens well and is able to communicate effectively
Ability to listen to a problem, research why and determine a reasonable resolution
Documents each client contact and the resolution
Follows up with clients in a timely manner
A self-starter
Is able to travel and train clients at their banks
Is ethical and professional in his or her business conduct
Has an understanding of banking principles and practices
Is able and open to learn information rapidly
Is able to be trained and to train others
Is able to prioritize projects and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Is able to concentrate for extended periods and continues with tasks through completion
Is able to get along and work with many types of people
Is able to work with software programming team to correct problems found
Attends appropriate meetings and training sessions

Qualifications for the position include, but may not be limited to the following:

Able to work full-time
Able to work in a team environment
Able to communicate well with others
Has a positive personality
Motivated with a desire to succeed
Willingness to help others be successful
Ability to research, identify and resolve client concerns
Good general knowledge of PC business applications, such as EXCEL, WORD, ACCESS, etc.
Knowledge or experience in banking helpful, but not required
Ability to prepare training plans for all aspects of software and hardware support
Ability to quickly learn and understand new banking software systems
Self-motivated individual with reliable work habits
Prefer a career-minded person who is seeking long-term employment
